Abstract:

A control system manages, commands, directs, or regulates the behavior of other devices or systems using control loops. It can range from a single home heating controller using a thermostat controlling a domestic boiler to large Industrial control systems which are used for controlling processes or machines.

Details:

Fluid Tank level system is mathematically modelled and then simulated using simulink. Output response of system is analyzed and response is found to be quite sluggish.

In order to improve the response of system, a PID controller is designed to achive target system specifications. Controller is designed by analyzing root locus of open loop system and inserting poles and zeros at suitable locations.

Improved system response on cascading controller is observed and analyzed using VR Simulator tool.
